Soba-making course (Tempura included)

Time required About 90 minutes Fee 2,600 yen

Put the Soba you made together with the Tempura made from Izu’s specialty Agelica, make a delicious dish of your own.
■ An outline of Soba-making
Orientation → grinding Soba seeds with stone mills → Soba-kneading → tasting
※ We will move to Restaurant Akazawa for tasting.

※ If you don’t show up before the course starts, you won’t be able to join the course.

※ If you are allergic to Soba or wheat, please refrain from application or entering into the workshop.

※ Minimum age required is 7 years old.
※ Children alone cannot join the course. A guardian is required for children participants.
※ Since the course involves using sharp knife, please be careful not to hurt yourself.

Soba-making and Soba lunch set (including tempura, horned turban rice and side dishes)

Put the Soba you made with tempura, and enjoy them with a popular horned turban rice.

Buckwheat experience & buckwheat tuna (tempura, rice dish, sashimi and small bowl)

Time required About 90 minutes Fee 3,500 yen

Beside the soba you struck, in addition to the rice which you want to eat if you are a tree in Izu, you can have it together with tempura and sashimi.

Orientation → grinding stone mill → buckwheat → sample meal (siro)
※ Taste will be moved to "Meal treatment Akazawa" on the premises.

Original Soba cup and Soba-making course

Time required About 4 hours Fee  4,700 yen

A new course born from the episode “Thursday's Richelka” in TV show “Marukoto,” broadcasted on 21 September 2017 by Shizuoka Daiichi Television!
This is a course that you can make your own Soba and eat it with the Soba cup you made on your own. While having a great time making Soba and cup, you can even bring the cup home with you.
Firstly, you choose a Soba cup at Yahata no Kama, located in Village of Izukogen Workshops, and make an original cup via etching-art. Afterward, you go to Kannon Tei to make the Soba, and eat them with the Soba cup you just made.
After you enjoyed the Soba you made, you can bring the Soba cup home as a souvenir.

First we gather at the Yahata no Kama, located in the Izukogen Village of Workshops at 11:20. Then the course begins at 11:30 with the sandblasting process.
At the workshop of sandblasting on the 2nd floor, first you choose a Soba cup you like, and paste the design sticker or a combination of your name on the cup.
Next you use the sandblasting technique to carve out your design.
Even the work involving tools are all done by yourself! You will be able to make a fine Soba cup with your original design.
It’s a safe course even for beginners.
It would be a great souvenir to bring the Soba cup as a present to your friend.
※The fee for design stickers will be charged separately. 25 yen, 50 yen or 100 yen for one sticker.

After finished making your original Soba cup, we will move to the Soba-making workshop Kannon Tei and begin making Soba at 2 PM.
Grinding the seeds of Soba with a stone mill, batting them, cut them, and here comes your hand-made Soba.
Afterwards, we move to Restaurant Akazawa, and eat the Soba you just made with your original Soba cup there.
After you enjoyed the Soba you made, you can bring the Soba cup home as a souvenir.

※ Although the price shows 2100 yen, please pay the fee of 2100 yen+ card-sticker fee + Soba-making fee on site.
